Recently, I was introduced to the readings of Abraham Hicks – thus the word Pivot Positive. My husband and I were looking for a new company name and this really resonated with us. This blog is an extension of the business that he and I are building. More on that later.
Today, the newspapers are filled with very sombering, depressing news. Yet, there is so much good going on in the world that gets drowned out over the gloom and doom. Pivot Positive is here to remind us all to listen to our voice of happiness. Our goal is to broadcast today’s positive news and thoughts through text, video, music, images – in whatever way we stumble upon or create. We may also espouse the occasional historical reference, too.
There’s an upside to everything – if we choose to see it. Let me give you a very simple example. Today, the news reports 10% unemployment in California. Yes, agreed, that’s pretty darn high. But, if I pivot, I would say 90% of the people in California are employed. Pivot Positive. 90% of Californians have jobs, thankfully. Just thinking about it differently changes the feeling you get deep down in your gut. I realize many of you will say “that changes nothing”.
I challenge you to try this for 1 week. Every thought that comes into your mind – pivot positive. You’ll be amazed at the results. It changed my life, my husband’s life, my teenaged children’s life.
If you’d like to participate with me in pivoting – please join us in Twittering Positive.
